MindUP

The MindUp program improves student emotional wellbeing. It helps students understand the how t their attitudes and behaviour impact on their emotional wellbeing. Students learn to be reflective and in the moment through mindfulness training and controlled breathing. Students participate in three brain breaks a day and lessons about the brain’s function.The current research shows that MindUp improves student focus and engagement with learning. We know that happy children become happy learners leading to positive outcomes as adults. MindUp adds another dimension to our existing Values program and as a whole school initiative.
